We believe that every garden needs form, so our bespoke range of woody plants ensures that we can provide what your design needs. Our passion is to source, nurture and supply amazing plants.

Working primarily with garden designers, landscape architects and landscapers, we want to share our love and enjoyment of dealing with plants every day of the year.
Our new 8 acre nursery boasts an extensive range of trees, topiary, shrubs and hedging. We recognise that for many people, buying a tree or a piece of topiary is an emotional decision – you want to fall in love with it, to see and feel it. That’s why all our plants have all been selected by horticultural experts to provide you with quality specimens, and ones that you will want to grow.
The nursery provides a comprehensive selection of beautiful structural plants. A knowledgeable and dedicated team are on-hand to assist with all elements of your latest project. With an extensive range of specimen trees, topiary, shrubs and hedging, varieties and plant shapes have been personally selected by horticultural experts to provide you with quality specimens that will bring form to your garden.
We hold a vast array of stock at our nursery, but are constantly buying new plants too. Our holding bay and quarantining area ensures we look after the plants until our customers need them to be sent to site.
Working with you
We have a unique understanding for what designers are trying to achieve – no project is too big or too small. Our showroom is laid out so that anyone wanting to see, touch or discuss a plant has that opportunity. Come for a glass of wine, a bite to eat or just a chat – we want to help you realise your next new project. We also offer a comprehensive range of planting products, as well as a bespoke planting service.
Jamie Butterworth's Form Plants
Form Plants was established in 2021, and was born out of a frustration from Managing Director Jamie Butterworth. “A few years ago,” he explains, “I was planting and maintaining people’s gardens, but the service I was encountering at some plant suppliers was head-bangingly bad. So I started to grow plants for myself, then for my customers and then I ended up establishing Form Plants. I’ve always wanted a nursery that is clean, crisp and has great customer service. I hope’s that what we offer all our customers.”
With more than 10 years experience in the industry, Jamie has exhibited his passion for quality and innovation in horticulture. From working at RHS Garden Wisley, to winning gold at RHS Chelsea Flower Show (2022), RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival (2021) and at the RHS’s then flower show at Chatsworth (2019), he has a huge experience in bringing form to all that he does.
